The city of Rutland, Vt., is opening a methadone clinic this week. A grand opening ceremony is scheduled Tuesday for the West Ridge Center for Addiction Recovery. Medical technicians on one side of a security window will disperse individual doses of Methadone and Suboxone and ensure it is consumed on site for patients undergoing opiate withdrawal.
