Has Anyone Used These Home Drug Tests? How Accurate Are They? Testing for Methadone..?

Question by stuckinyourheart: Has anyone used these home drug tests? How accurate are they? Testing for Methadone..?
I got a First Check 12 panel drug test.. I am testing for Methadone. It is Wednesday today, the last time I took Methadone was Monday. I have a drug test for Pretrial today. I have until 4pm to report. I have given 2 dirtys in a row for Percocet. I took the methadone because it helps me get off the perks, and i have been doing okay.. I havn’t had any withdrawals at all. If I give another dirty I will get locked up. I didn’t think I would have to report until Friday so now I’m a little worried. The kit says methadone takes 1-3 days to get out of your system, but I’ve heard 3-6 days.. so I don’t know.

So How accurate are these tests? And How long does it take for Methadone to get out of you??

I would advise you try to break your pill habit. I’ve just found a site though that states methadone is not tested for in standard drug test, but can be found in an intensive drug test. I doubt they’ll do an intensive test, they just wanna see if your doing any hard drugs like heroine or crack cocaine as well as xanax and other anxiety meds.

Most corporate drug testing programs follow federal government guidelines known as the “SAMHSA-5,” or “Five-Screen,” which checks for drugs in five categories: cannabinoids (marijuana), cocaine, opiates (heroin, morphine), amphetamines and phencyclidine (PCP). While methadone is an opiate, its chemical composition differs from those that are detected by the five-screen, and will not be detected in a standard drug test.

Also I found that if they decide to do the extended check, it can be found if its been in your body within the past 7 days.
