Okay short story: mom on drugs, mom goes on methadone..mom has baby..baby is going through withdrawls and ends up in NICU on morphine..they took baby off morphine yesterday to see how she does..and now today they put her on methadone, and want to send her home 2morrow? Why would hospitals let a baby go home on methadone with already known drug abusers?? anything else about methadone babies ect info welcome..

had a baby 6 days ago i was on the methadone program, its been 5 days and she is still in the hospital but doctors said she is doing good she is not withdrawling if she hasnt showed anything yet can it still show up 6 days later.
